We had some fun trips this week! Mickey Owen, 19, of Ft. Pierce caught jacks, snook, and almost doubled on reds. George Kelso had a grand slam with a n 8 1/2 lb. trout, 6 lb. 4 oz. flounder, a 28 in. snook and a nice over slot redfish.Hats off to father/son team from Texas, Robert and Jacob Thomas. Jacob, 8, hit a nice 29 1/2 in. snook, as well as several smaller snook and nearly landed a big red which unfortunately broke off in the mangroves.Live bait choices are mojarras and blue crabs. Artificial lures working well has been the #309 DOA gold/glow combo and top water early morning or evening.P.S. Keep the spoil islands clean! Take out what you bring in!!!
